LAUNCH #2: STUDENT STUDY TIPS!

What: Study Station will be publishing a compilation of study tips, submitted from students across Canada, from all grades, in an article on our website. We want to share your expert tips with the rest of the Study Station community (now over 500 strong)!

When? Complete and submit the Google form anytime between May 5th, 2020 - July 31st, 2020.

Prize:

The top study tips will be published in the article, and each of the qualified participants* will be entered in a draw for a $25 Indigo gift card!

How to Participate:

Want to see your study tip published amongst others submitted by top students? Could you use an Indigo gift card? Submit your tip by completing the following Google form (requires First Name, Last Initial and E-mail) before July 31st, 2020 to be considered.

Contest Rules and Regulations:

Entries must be from participants that are current students (grades 1 - 12) residing in Canada. Those who submit a form but do not meet these requirements will not be considered for the article nor the draw.
Participants must complete all parts of the Google form and submit the form by July 31st, 2020 11:59PM. Upon submission, participants will be redirected to a form submission screen indicating that their response has been received. Late entries will not be considered as “submitted” and will not be eligible for the article or the draw.
Participants may only submit one entry. Any entries submitted after the first entry will be disqualified and these additional entries will not be considered for the article publication or the draw.
In order to qualify for the draw, participants must submit their study tip via the Google form and indicate they would like to be entered (select “yes”). Any incomplete, inappropriate or plagiarized entries will be immediately disqualified from both the article selection and the draw.

A winner for the draw will be announced in early August 2020. The article containing top study tips (from a variety of grade levels - older students will not be at an advantage) will be released in August 2020. Failure to abide by the rules and regulations will result in automatic disqualification for both the article publication contest and the draw.

What: A short writing contest for Canadian students in Grades 7 - 9 as of September 2019

When: September 8th to December 31st, 2019

Guidelines and Rules:

-Create a short write-up using the prompt: "The world needs to know..."

-Maximum 1000 words

-Each entry will be evaluated on originality, fluidity, and spelling/grammar. Plagiarism is NOT tolerated and any plagarized entries will be disqualified.

Submit Your Entry:

-Submit your final entry in PDF form to project.studystation@gmail.com before December 31st 2019, 11:59pm EST. Upon submission, you will receive an e-mail letting you know that your work has been received.

-Title your e-mail: Write It! - First Name, Last Name - Grade

Ex. "Write It! - Jane Doe - Grade 8"

Prize:
